Submission to the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act on behalf of Forensicare consumers

I was contracted in 2021 to speak with Forensicare consumers about what they wanted from the upcoming Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022. I only took the contract on the understanding that Forensicare agreed not to exercise any editorial oversight over what consumers said. Now that the Act has passed, I think many of the issues Forensicare consumers have raised, particularly regarding the standards in prisons, remain unaddressed.

More work needs to be done.
